CUFFING SEASON, HANDCUFFED PREY

Bruised heart

Twitching

As you pull me in

Muscles snapped and ripping;

Agony washing away the lure

Of emotional bondage,

Cracking ribs

With its girth

Body too frail to withstand

Your bright mind’s

Manipulative caress,

Lost my tongue

To anger

As it scraped teeth

With sizzling desire;

Your nails shed their

Fierceness

As eyes rolled back in their sockets;

Cuffing season

Blinking red

Moulding souring minds

Into petrified orbs

Of ghastly light,

Stay with me

Another night

Pet affection back

Into my arching back

And let me whisper

Smoothly gliding lies

About the throbbing love

You see in my

Hooded eyes.
