WET DREAM, LUCID PAIN

Woke up drenched

In musky sweat

Its cover stifling

Wispy dreams’ presence

In my searing bed,

The light of dawn

Snatched your shifting eyes

Away from the plush

Tattoo

Of your fingers tapping at

Stone-cold veins,

With your naked chests’ heat

You lulled me back to sleep

So deceitful clones

Could replace reality’s

Disappointing resolve,

Tell me I’m yours

Why don’t you scream it

Some more;

Words so foreign

To our love’s

Mute shrug,

You stole my words

So they would rip

Some nutrition

From your heart’s

Vice grip,

Yet ears decay

When assaulted with

Lies’ evil spell;

Tell me that I’m yours

Again

And again

Until your voice melts my

Brain.
