More than limb-tearing

I fear seeing you stray

From the protective whiff

Of my clammy skin along your width,

Sickening and deformed

The primal monstrosity

You have acquired in me

Along with your own reflection’s

Materialized bestiality,

Its green gaze

Though the room is brimming with fatter prey;

The act of chasing me

Smearing the walls

With weakness’ iridescent glow,

I can’t take it

Madness overtakes me

When the flash of envy

Makes forgotten joy hiss

At the sting of your eyes

Which have been promised to me

Peering complacently into another’s swamp

To mask the truth of the tripping speed

With which you fling your

Every particle at me

To ravage

In the sanctuary

Of the night.
