When you cried my name

It was with my heart thrumming within your veins,

Skin slick with the humidity

Of tropical blood

Breathless secrets spilled

Into the night

And lust thickening as you suffocated me

Just to creep under my tongue,

How I wish I could remember the plush softness of your body

And still tremble from the echo

Of your ecstasy,

I was a god when between your legs

But down here

I’m a mere mortal girl

Driven mad,

No sound ever reaches me from above

But somehow you’ve granted me

The phantom memory of your touch.
